Finding Neverland (2004): i guess its okay. thought it would be more like big fish, but the movie just kind of came and went while i watched it without much hoopla. i do have to say however that i was either choked up or teary eyed for about 30 minutes straight during the end of the movie. its really sweet and depp has an amazing accent. winslet is amazing as usual and the boys' performances were either really amazing or really gay. the movie manages to stir up some really good emotions out of you, so for that i'll have to say its worth seeing.

Tom Jones (1963): complete waste of my time. it was retarded and most of the time made absolutely no sense. the entire plot was pointless. all the cutaways and fades and wipes were all so annoying. and let's not even get into the awful narration. they say its the best comedy ever made, but by today's standards it gets top prize for the worst. this is also jfk's last movie he ever saw before he died, which i feel truly sorry for him to have to sit through this. i think people were too concerned over him dying that year, that come time for the oscar winners they just picked out of a hat for best picture and chose this crap. if you want to see a pimp named tom, drive to boulder and visit tommy k. but don't see this movie.

Driving Miss Daisy (1989): this puts me at seeing every best picture winner in a row from 1988 to today. its a pretty sweet movie and kind of on the short side which is what i have been needing lately. most every movie i've seen recently is 2+ hours long. acting was perfect as expected from mr. freeman. the movie actually might have been a little too short. it was too cut and dry of a plot. even the ending was just too tidy and simple. its probably worth seeing because of freeman and tandy. they have their witty moments which makes it fairly watchable. see it.

ended up being a tough weekend. snowboarding was fun. headed to the canyons because jessIE is too good of a friend to me. she got me a lift ticket as an early b-day present . . . way early i might add. its a good way to make sure you don't miss someone's birthday though; just get the gift way early. the canyons was so nice though. i fell a lot and landed really hard on my head toward the end. have had some bad headaches since. oh well. i'll learn my lesson some day. got to have lunch with my ma on saturday, but other than that the nights and days ended up being pretty lonely. when your wife is gone and you have no other friends in town other than another married woman, you're ended up with limited options. except i think i spent hours upon hours on www.littlemidgets.com downloading what seemed like hundreds of videos. there are some funny and gory stuff there which i'd very well recommend to all. and jonas is finally back to his old self again which i was so happy about.

i have a horrible headache and i feel about ready to puke. i'm pissed off that they are releasing a special edition double disk dvd for heat. and my pass for hollywood is officially over. i ended up raping them for 42 dvds in the 1 month period. comes out to about one and a half dvds a day for a month. not too shabby for ten bucks! so you can keep your netflix for now.
